2022 Scholarship Award Winners - Erin Collins (Red Devil Spirit), Emily Wang (Orchestra), Arnima Agrawal (Band) and Annie Asher (Vocal Performance)
Founded on January 23, 2017 in colloboration with the Hinsdale Central High School Foundation (the "Foundation"), the Hansen Family Music Excellence Scholarship Fund (the "Fund") was established to recognize and to promote the excellence of the Hinsdale Central High School Music Department. The Foundation was organized in 1991 as a means of providing support to entirety of the Hinsdale Central High School ("HCHS") from alumni, parents, community members, and business leaders. The Fund directs its efforts only to assist HCHS Music Department Faculty Members and its students. The original founders of the Fund include three graduates of the HCHS Music Department, including Jandelynn (Stillman) Hansen (Vocal Performance), Whitney (Hansen) Dodoo-Amoo (Band), and Sarah Hansen (Vocal Performance). As of Spring 2024, the Fund has awarded 25 students merit-based scholarships totalling $39,250.
