Hansen Family Music Excellence Scholarship

Annually, three (3) graduating Hinsdale Central High School ("HCHS") Music Department seniors will receive a merit-based scholarship award grant (the "Award Grant(s)"). Each recipient will represent a different HCHS Music Department Performance Area (collectively, the "Performance Areas"):

• Band;
• Orchestra; and
• Vocal Performance.

The amount of the current year's Award Grants can be found online in the current year's (downloadable solely for advance preparation). Although a scholarship applicant (an "Applicant") can only apply once, and can only be selected for one Performance Area, the Applicant's work in multiple Performance Areas can be considered.

The Award Grants will be announced at the annual HCHS Music Awards concert, when certificates will be given to successful Applicants. The monetary portion of the Award Grant will be presented to the successful Applicants at the annual HCHS Senior Scholarship Program.
